Tennis Pro-Shop Attendant

Job Description

Vineyards Country Club is looking for an energetic Tennis Pro-Shop Attendant to join our team.  This individual will ensure that all guests are greeted on the phone or in person in a friendly and professional demeanor while providing excellent customer service.

This individual will be in charge of answering phones and handling miscellaneous office duties.  The right candidate must be patient, highly organized, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Availabilty

Part-Time, Seasonal. Hours: 15-20 hours Monday through Friday, approximately 3:00 pm-6:00 pm

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and callers in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner.
  • Manage and sell merchandise in pro-shop.
  • Answer all incoming phone calls and handle as necessary.
  • Scheduling members for appropriate reservations.
  • Provide members and visitors with information as requested.
  • Completes special projects and assignments as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Reserve court times, setting up displays, assisting with tournaments, order and maintaining inventory, scheduling lessons, and clinics, and promote tennis events.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effectively able to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work with little direction.
  • Ability to type efficiently and accurately.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Heavy experience with customer service and client communication.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
