Dear Vineyards Country Club Members,
We are delighted to report the highly anticipated South Golf Course renovation is currently on time with a scheduled grand opening this coming December. We have included a link below with the latest video – Golf Course Renovation Update #9.
Due to the excellent outcome from the overseeding on the South Course, we will be implementing the same process on the North. Because of this, the North Course and all practice areas will close from Monday, September 25th until Monday, October 9th. This will enable better playing conditions while delivering effective preparation for this spring’s North Course renovation. Members will not be allowed on the golf course during this time frame so that the grass can get established. This includes all recreational walking, bike riding, etc.
During this closure, the golf shop and cart facility will be open from 7:00 am-5:00pm and will have reciprocal golf available. The staff in the cart facility will be here if you need your bag or would like to drop off your bag. We understand this will be an inconvenience to our members and are asking for your consideration and patience with us as we implement continued major improvements as smoothly and effectively as possible.
On Tuesday, October 10th, the brand new, greatly expanded, targeted driving range is expected to reopen with a new look, better layout, top of the line technology and well-appointed accessories. The range will debut a modern GPS distance finder called FlagD at each station. There will be eight pin locations for sharpening your game, offering succinct yardage for each target location. This unique technology allows for simulated rounds equipped with greens, bunkers, and some trees.
In addition, the club will be enhancing our golf cart fleet by adding Vantage Inc.’s Tag© system GPS. This cutting-edge technology includes full color display monitors, yardage measurements to every obstacle and target, geo-fencing, and two-way communication. This new investment will greatly enhance the golfing experience, as well as help with pace of play and traffic control. We are striving to implement the enormous task of installing the GPS on all existing carts by October 10th.
These enhancements represent the ongoing rebranding of Vineyards Country Club and a segway to what is to come with the opening of the Kipp Schulties designed South Course. Because of ownership’s devotion and support, the club is able to provide these vast improvements without assessments, even while waitlists remain for golf memberships.
