Jim Schleutker, Vineyards Golf Superintendent has begun planting the new herb garden in front of the clubhouse. Jim says this area will be best to give the herbs the good 4-6 hours of sunlight each day.
Custom boxes built in front the the admin side of the clubhouse. Dawn Flynn, F & B Director is excited to use the herbs in all of Vineyards food menu items including mint for beverages. Fresh herbs make recipes taste even better and are great to have around for soups, stews, and salads.
Some of the kinds of herbs to be planted are Basil, Rosemary, Thyme, Dill, Parsley, Cilantro, Chives, Bay leaves, Oregano, Lemongrass, Mint and Peppermint.
