Changes are being seen daily around the Club. Currently at the Club Pool they have finished building in the 2- tiered pool sundeck. This pool deck will provide a larger area for more pool chairs. The other side of the pool shows the amazing pool bar structure being built. There will be room for 15 people to sit at the pool bar along with tables around it for casual pool dining. Large televisions will be mounted to the back of the bar so members can watch their favorite sports in a relaxed atmosphere. We will also be getting in some amazing tile from Italy to make the entire pool area have a resort look.
Inside the south side of the clubhouse they continue their work on the dining rooms and banquet rooms. Having a picture of what the dining rooms will look like was warmly applauded and appreciated by our members last week. The rooms will be breathtaking with their professionally transitional designs. Our design group from Peacock and Lewis along with the beautiful selections by our Board has done an amazing job with new look.
Today a new larger tent is going into the back lawn of the clubhouse. They took down the smaller banquet tent and are adding a 3700 square foot Event Tent which will also include a dance floor. This tent will be a great area for events and area for socials. We are making it look very special inside with a “white” theme that will have A/C and Heat available for any type of weather situation. If you are looking for an area to hold your next event call our Club. We will be hosting catering and holiday events in the tent over the next few months for all types of gatherings.
The new Wellness Center & Spa is receiving it’s final touches and the Wellness Staff is busy getting programming ready for the upcoming season. You will see a lot of information in the next coming month on the calendar with new classes and new staff coming on board.
You may have seen the new USPGA putting and chipping green when you drive into the Club on the left before the new Wellness Center & Spa. This has been a big project for our grounds department and we give big kudos to Jim Schleutker our Agronomist for designing and being the one to make it happen professionally and timely! We expect to have members enjoying this in early October.
Food and Beverage department has been busy with new menus, new china, glassware, decor and fun new food ideas. Getting a new dining room means getting all new items from napkins, to spoons to food selections. They are also working on “CAFE V” which is the cafe going into the new Wellness Center & Spa. This area will feature smoothies, healthy drinks and healthy choice take away food.
To summarize, Vineyards Country Club has been BUSY! We thank all our members for being patient in this transition. Vineyards isn’t just doing a standard renovation…..this is an amazing project that will continue to make Vineyards a True Legacy.
