Vineyards Country Club officials recently announced plans to build two additional pickleball courts within its racquet facility. With this expansion, the award-winning country club will offer a total of eight pickleball courts.

“Our commitment to enhancing member experiences and exceeding current expectations remains steadfast,” said Paul Malonson, Vineyards Country Club Chief Operating Officer. “For years, we have built a popular, robust racquet sports program as part of club life here, and adding to our pickleball courts reflects dedication to providing top-notch recreational facilities.”

Research indicates that outdoor exercise contributes to increased vitality, stress reduction and improved well-being.

The new courts were designed and funded without member assessments by Vineyards Country Club. Added in response to increased member use and demand, the courts are produced by the U.S. Tennis and Recreation and will include cushioning and LED lighting for night play. Completion of the two new courts is expected in early summer.

In addition to open play and weekly round robins, Vineyards Country Club’s racquet center offers year-round pickleball programming including camps, competitive round robin-style tournaments by play level, league play by level, monthly clinics, private lessons and a weekly kids’ pickleball clinic. The club regularly holds themed social events such as its Super Bowl mixer, mimosa opens, club championships, fundraising tournaments and its yearly toy drive benefiting Toys for Tots throughout the month of December.

Vineyards Country Club also includes a 1,200 square foot outdoor circuit training facility located adjacent to the community’s award-winning, 15,000-square-foot Wellness Center and Spa. The outdoor training area creates numerous additional fitness and training options in an outdoor setting suitable for member athletes of all ages. According to club officials, Vineyards is one of the only country clubs in Naples to feature an outdoor fitness training facility.

The fitness center offers an atmosphere conducive to an effective, personalized workout experience. Members enjoy active wellness programming, including personal training, group fitness classes, health assessments and so much more. Our professional staff strives to make the healthy choice the easy choice by delivering a one-of-a-kind health and wellness experience.

The 15,000-square-foot Wellness Center and Spa offers a variety of resort-style amenities and services to promote overall well-being and social connection. The serene space provides central access to a top-of-the-line fitness center, five-star spa, unique salt room, saltwater lap pool, and charming café for healthy dining. The Wellness Center and Spa was the recipient of the Collier Building Industry Association’s Sand Dollar Award for Interior Design of the Year.

Vineyards Country Club fitness instructors utilize the outdoor circuit training facility to specialize in small group training, one-on-one training, outdoor yoga, and balance and circuit classes. These types of programs are offered throughout the year, but especially focused on high season usage throughout December through May, when southwest Florida’s weather is most conducive to outdoor training. The facility is constructed from galvanized steel anchored into the ground. The structural elements include TRX™, or total body resistance, training equipment made with Kevlar, as well as urethane coated kettlebells and dumbbells, and vinyl-covered resistance bands, all designed to provide maximum weather proofing and outdoor usage. The floor surface of the training facility consists of eco-friendly, recycled permanent poured-in-place elastic surfacing made from ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM). EPDM granular rubber surfaces are high-quality, weather-resistant, low maintenance and durable surfaces used in other outdoor fitness facilities and playgrounds in more than 60 countries across all continents.
