Naples, Fla. (November 19, 2019) – Vineyards Country Club today announced the completion and reopening of its newly renovated golf pro shop.
“Our pro shop is one of the most technologically advanced, well-appointed and updated golf shops in the area,” said Paul Malonson, Vineyards Country Club Chief Operating Officer. “In keeping with our commitment to excellence, our tenured staff is dedicated to making sure our members enjoy their time here at Vineyards, and we also carry only the golf industry’s best products.”
The 1,200 square foot pro shop was redesigned and updated as part of Vineyards Country Club’s multi-million-dollar, multi-phase renovation efforts. The ceiling has been raised from 10 feet to approximately 18 feet and is accented with wooden beams and crown moldings. New windows, doors, flooring and lighting create a brighter, more open atmosphere. To better utilize the facility’s merchandising capabilities and displays, the counter was moved to a different location within the golf shop.
A new Tournament Operations office was added, and a merchandising office was renovated with new cabinets and countertops. The stock room was reconfigured to maximize the square footage for storage and arrivals of new merchandise. Renovations for the facility began on May 1.
The Golf Shop features a full range of products and services for golfers of all skill levels, including leading brands of golf apparel, shoes, balls, and golf accessories by some of golf’s most respected brands such as FootJoy, Donald Ross, Fairway & Greene, Straight Down, Travis Matthew and more. The ladies apparel lines include EP Pro, Tail, GG Blue, TZU TZU, IBKUL, Sport Haley, and more. Vineyards Country Club’s staff works closely with Titleist, Cobra, Callaway and other golf club manufacturers to carry an inventory of the most current golf equipment available. Special order items are also available for members.
The golf pro shop is managed by Director of Golf Tom Metzger, whose tenure with Vineyards Country Club spans 24 years. Head Golf Professional Tim Gaadt, Club Teaching Professional Paul Boland, Assistant Golf Professional Mike Pearson, and Merchandiser Sandy McClain—also a 24-year Vineyards Country Club employee—round out the club’s pro shop staff.
Vineyards Country Club’s entire renovation project is scheduled for completion in early 2020.
